Currently, Ichigo is fighting the brutal Nnoitra and is severly injured. He then receives a fatal blow.
Orihime (crying): “Ichigo!!!!!”
Nnoitra’s subordinate kicks Orihime: “Who the hell told you that you can speak!” He continues to kick her until beaten unconscious. “There, now the damn girl will finally shut up.”
Ichigo: “Orihime!!! You fucking BASTARD I’ll kill⎯”
Nnoitra strikes: “Don’t you dare take your FUCKING eyes off me damn it!!!”
Suddenly, a great deal of spiritual pressure is released making it hard for everyone to breathe. Everyone is in a state of shock. Who could this unknown power be coming from???
Ichigo turns around and sees Orihime rising with a great deal of spiritual pressure radiating from her.
Ichigo (to self): “??? ... Is that… really Orihime?”
Orihime slowly rises with a malevolent grin encroaching on her face. The whites of her eyes have been replaced with darkness, and her irises replaced with a homicidal yellow color. Nnoitra’s subordinate looks at Orihime with shock and horror. Orihime knocks him out with a lethal punch.
Orihime: “Thanks for knocking out that stupid whore. Now to show my gratitude, I’LL END YOU WITH A SINGLE BLOW!!!”
Orihime opens her palm and faces it towards the subordinate.
Ichigo: (hesitant) “Orihime…” (yells) “What the HELL is going on with you??!!!!”
She looks at him with her murderous eyes and Ichigo’s eyes open with fright and shock and then she faces towards the subordinate again.
Orihime blasts a pink cero in the subordinates face and he disintegrates into the artificially blue sky.
Orihime: “How boring… lets move on to someone more interesting… how about… that arrancar with that crazy looking sword? … This should be fun!”
Nnoitra: “BITCH!! I’m not a FUCKING arrancar, I’m the 5th espada!!!!”
Orihime: “Yea, whatever… it won’t matter since your going to be dead soon.”
Ichigo puts his hands on Orihime’s shoulders.
Ichigo: “Orihime… what’s going on with you?”
She pushes them aside.
Orihime: “Get out of my way, or I’ll kill you too.”
Ichigo steps aside with even more shock than before.
Ichigo (to self): “This c–can’t be Orihime! She would never talk to me or anyone like that, and she would never kill anyone, even if it is the enemy! What is going on??”
He remembers the change in her eyes. “… Her eyes! Could it be… she’s a⎯No way!!!”
Nnoitra (to Orihime): “HA! I’d like to see you try!! You don’t even have a sword!!”
Orihime (in a sinister way): “Then I’ll just take yours and slice you up with it.”
Nnoitra: “???”
Orihime flash steps to Nnoitra and holds on to his sword and brakes off one of the crescent-shaped blades with her bare hands.
Nnoitra (in shock and fear): “You’re FUCKING CRAZY! You’re just a weakling and can’t do anything to me!!! What’s with this sudden will to fight???”
Orihime: “Don’t confuse me with that USELESS BITCH! She has never done anything in any one of the battles! All she does is stand and watches! It’s FUCKING insulting to confuse me with her!!!!”
Ichigo: “What are you saying useless?!! None of use would have survived without your healing powers!! You’re just as apart of the team as anyone else!!!”
Orihime: “Shut up!!! I told you that I am not Orihime!!!
Ichigo: “Orihime, snap out of it!!”
Orihime: *tch*
Orihime turns to Nnoitra and repetitively slices him with his blade and he is unable to counter attack. A hollow mask starts forming on her face.
Nnoitra: “Now I see, now you are finally turning into a hollow like us. Maybe you’ll finally be of some use to us.”
Orihime: “I’m on no FUCKING side! I just been trapped for so long and I want to kill, you seem like better person to carve up.”

Ichigo (yells): “Ori⎯”
Nell grabs his arm and pulls him aside while Orihime and Nnoitra fight: “She must have been exposed to the hyokygou somehow.”
Ichigo (concerned): “What do you mean?!”
Nell: “All humans possess a hollow deep within their soul. That’s how they are able to turn into hollows in the first place when they become wholes. In order to become a hollow, you must awaken the hollow in your soul somehow. Most of the time it occurs when either a hollow consumes your soul, or your chain of fate eats away until your left with a hole in your heart….”
Ichigo (thinks): “Wait, that’s what happened when old man Urahara cut my chain of fate, they just ate away.”
Nell: “Or…”
Ichigo: “Or?”
Nell: “You’re exposed to the hyokygou.”
Ichigo (shocked): “…. Wait! The hyokygou was in Rukia but she didn’t become a hollow!!”
Nell: “… The soul reaper that Aizen took the hyokygou out of?”
Ichigo: “Yeah! So how do you explain that??!”
Nell: “Well at the time the hyokygou was in Rukia it was dormant so it did not affect her.  By the time Orihime was brought here, it should have started to awaken; thus, Aizen must have shown Orihime the hyokygou, which probably awakened her hollow. Because she was beaten near death, her hollow was probably able to take over.”
Ichigo (thinks): “That makes sense, when Hiyori beat me up really bad that one time, I transformed into that ugly bastard… I see…”
